Live the good life—even with osteoarthritis.

The GLA:D (Good Life with osteoArthritis: Denmark) program is a group education and exercise program for people with knee or hip osteoarthritis. Developed by researchers in Denmark, the program aims to improve participants’ movement patterns and day-to-day function, ultimately reducing pain, stiffness, and other symptoms of osteoarthritis. For more information, check out www.gladcanada.ca.

Participants generally show reduced symptoms, reduced pain, reduced use of pain medications, increased physical activity levels 12 months after starting the program, and mental health benefits from meeting others coping with similar challenges.
