General recommendations for concussion recovery include a short period of rest, followed by a gradual return to activity under supervision.
Our concussion treatments start with a thorough assessment where we use both subjective and objective tools to evaluate what gives you symptoms.
Concussion care can involve a variety of treatments to manage symptoms. With your baseline established, you will be provided with specific education regarding concussion management, advice on return to work, school or sport, and a home exercise plan if indicated.
Concussion treatment sessions can include:
- Hands-on manual therapy
- Visual, balance and proprioception exercises
- In-clinic active rehabilitation with symptom monitoring
- Planning strategies for return to work, school or sport
- Return to play testing

45 – 60 minute initial visit, including education on condition and condition management, initiation of manual therapy and exercises, modalities (such as ultrasound, heat treatment, electrical stimulation, etc.)
Follow-up treatment: $100
