Find your fit.

Bike fitting isn’t just for the pros! Our bike fits optimise how your body and bike work together. Whether you ride road, triathlon, gravel, mountain or just like to commute we can give you a personalised feel when riding. Our bike fittings are completed by our physiotherapists and can be covered by most extended health plans. Every cyclist is unique and needs a fit tailored to their combination of body shape, flexibility, and strength.  Our physiotherapists in Edmonton are experts at assessing the body and analysing motion. Together, we will find your perfect fit through a detailed biomechanical assessment both on and off the bike.

Key benefits:

  • Eliminate pain
  • Find your optimal position
  • Increase performance
  • Enjoy riding more!

What you get.

Physiotherapy assessment

All fittings start with a 45 minute assessment which will form the base of your bike fit. We’ll look at your mobility, strength, and any functional restrictions around cycling. We’ll talk through your detailed riding history and cycling goals. You’ll get a targeted exercise program and manual therapy techniques to address any problem areas.

Bike fit

After you warm up on our trainer, we’ll methodically work through adjustments to your shoes and cleats (or foot position if you ride with flat pedals), seat, and handlebars. You’ll spend some time riding easy, at sustained power, and through short-duration sprints to ensure that we’re working towards your bike fit goal. We’ll explain each and every change as we make it, and you’ll leave with a report detailing your bike’s new geometry.

Our goal is to fit your current bike and equipment to its maximum potential, but also have some equipment on-hand for purchase if necessary. We can also make specific recommendations on what to purchase from a bike shop so that you know you’re getting the right gear.

Follow-up support

After your initial fit, we recommend riding 5-10 hours to ensure we’re on the right track. You can come back to our Edmonton clinic at any point over the next month to make any small adjustments to your bike.

Let’s get started.

Booking Your Bike Fit

To allow for a thorough assessment and proper fitting, bike fits are broken up into 2 sessions. Session 1 is dedicated to the physiotherapy assessment and exercises. In Session 2, we get your bike dialled in. 1.5 – 2 hours are allotted to the fitting and riding process, ensuring you get the fit you’re looking for.
* For online bookings, Session 1 and Session 2 must be booked on separate days.
